{"id":2035,"date":"2023-11-21T06:02:00","date_gmt":"2023-11-21T06:02:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.coadec.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=2035"},"modified":"2023-12-11T06:04:19","modified_gmt":"2023-12-11T06:04:19","slug":"continuous-education-organizes-a-scientific-symposium-on-the-high-illiteracy-rate-among-women","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.coadec.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=2035","title":{"rendered":"Continuous Education organizes a scientific symposium on the high illiteracy rate among women"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_btn title=&#8221;Arabic&#8221; style=&#8221;3d&#8221; color=&#8221;peacoc&#8221; i_align=&#8221;right&#8221; i_icon_fontawesome=&#8221;fas fa-angle-double-right&#8221; add_icon=&#8221;true&#8221; link=&#8221;url:https%3A%2F%2Fcoadec.uobaghdad.edu.iq%2F%3Fp%3D40932|target:_blank&#8221;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Continuous Education Unit, in cooperation with the Business Administration Department, organized a scientific symposium entitled \u201cThe High Illiteracy Rate among Women, Causes and Treatments,\u201d presented by Assist.Prof. Amira Shukr Albayti, Assist.Prof.Dr. Suha Jamal Mouloud.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">The workshop aimed to study the negative effects of the increasing illiteracy rate among women, for it is a time bomb to destroy the basic building block of society, furthermore, they discussed how to find solutions and treatments for the phenomenon of illiteracy in all its forms.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to the statistics of the Central Agency for the year 2017, illiteracy constitutes approximately six million women, i.e. a rate of 28% of the population rate, while the percentage of digital literacy reached 96 out of every 100 women at a time when the balance of knowledge and sciences has become measured on the scale of digital technologies and sciences, which is a large number in a country that is trying to find a place. It is among the countries of the developed world.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">The symposium reached a number of recommendations\/conclusions, the most important of which are:<\/p>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Illiteracy in all its forms weakens human potential and the process of sustainable development.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Illiteracy also constitutes a barrier to the development of people and the progress of societies.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Illiteracy contributes to the spread of ignorance, the prevalence of wrong ideas, and belief in superstitions.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Literacy is considered an engine for sustainable development, as well as an inherent part of education and a form of progress.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Digital literacy also plays a powerful role in helping people communicate, learn, and engage with their communities and create a more promising future.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_btn
