The College of Administration and Economics<\/a> at the University of Baghdad<\/a> discussed a higher diploma equivalent to Master\u2019s Thesis in field of security strategic planning by the student (Laith Sabah Abdul Rahman ) and tagged with (The Role of Authentic Leadership in Organizational Performance\/ an analytical Study of the Iraqi Ministry of Interior – Planning and Follow-up Directorate ), Under supervision of (Prof. Dr. TALA Asim Faiq )<\/p>\n

The current research aims to test the correlation and influence relationship between authentic leadership as an independent variable and organizational performance as a dependent variable\u060c as well as to determine the level of availability of authentic leadership behaviors and to identify the role played by authentic leadership in achieving organizational performance and (does authentic leadership have a role and influence in organizational performance?) by adopting the dimensions of authentic leadership (self-awareness\u060c internal ethical perspective\u060c balanced treatment and transparency of relationships)\u060c as well as the dimensions of organizational performance (efficiency\u060c effectiveness and justice) in the departments\u060c divisions and units of the Planning and Follow-up Directorate – Iraqi Ministry of Interior\u060c to come up with a set of recommendations that contribute to raising the level of organizational performance in the organization under study. The researcher adopted the descriptive analytical approach in completing this research\u060c by collecting data from officers\u060c employees\u060c and members of the departments\u060c branches\u060c and units\u060c numbering (216)\u060c so that the sample would be random and stratified\u060c specializing in (officers\u060c employees\u060c and members)\u060c based on the questionnaire that included (29) paragraphs. The questionnaire was formulated according to the five-point Likert scale\u060c while the researcher relied on the SPSS program. V28))\u060c (AMOS V.25) In addition to using descriptive statistical methods (exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis\u060c percentages\u060c arithmetic mean\u060c standard deviation\u060c multiple linear regression\u060c normal distribution tests\u060c Pearson’s correlation coefficient\u060c and coefficient of variation)\u060c the most prominent result of the study was the influence of authentic leadership on organizational performance. Self-awareness had a direct impact on organizational performance\u060c outweighing the other dimensions (internal ethical perspective\u060c balanced processing\u060c and relationship transparency)\u060c respectively. The Planning and Follow-up Directorate at the Ministry of Interior also sought to improve organizational performance by adopting authentic leadership in general\u060c and its dimensions of self-awareness\u060c internal ethical perspective\u060c and balanced processing. However\u060c it employed relationship transparency only occasionally. Furthermore\u060c it relied on self-awareness and balanced processing to improve efficiency and the level of justice\u060c and adopted an internal ethical perspective to improve effectiveness.<\/p>\n
