{"id":5943,"date":"2025-12-17T06:57:23","date_gmt":"2025-12-17T06:57:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.coadec.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=5943"},"modified":"2025-12-31T06:57:23","modified_gmt":"2025-12-31T06:57:23","slug":"continuing-education-discusses-the-impact-of-government-policies-on-promoting-entrepreneurship","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.coadec.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=5943","title":{"rendered":"Continuing Education Discusses the Impact of Government Policies on Promoting Entrepreneurship"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"130\" data-end=\"452\"><a href=\"https:\/\/en.coadec.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?page_id=186\">The Continuing Education Unit<\/a> organized a scientific workshop entitled <em data-start=\"258\" data-end=\"326\">\u201cThe Impact of Government Policies in Promoting Entrepreneurship.\u201d<\/em> The workshop was delivered by<a href=\"https:\/\/repository.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/author\/amani.k.coadec\"> Assistant Lecturer Amani Khalid Abdulhadi<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/repository.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/researchers\/sura.f.coadec\">Assistant Lecturer Sura Fouad Abdulkarim<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"454\" data-end=\"729\">The workshop aimed to highlight the role of government policies in supporting entrepreneurship and to introduce the most effective policies that contribute to creating a stimulating entrepreneurial environment, thereby encouraging innovation and supporting start-up projects.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"731\" data-end=\"1128\">The workshop addressed the concept of entrepreneurship as the process through which an individual or a group of individuals transforms an innovative idea into a viable commercial project or service. It emphasized that entrepreneurship is a key driver of economic growth and a fundamental pillar of development, making its support and promotion a strategic necessity rather than a secondary option.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"1130\" data-end=\"1675\">The workshop further explained that government policies represent a decisive element in building a supportive environment for entrepreneurial activities, due to their direct impact on facilitating business establishment procedures, providing financing channels, simplifying legal and administrative processes, as well as supporting innovation and enhancing sustainability. In this context, the workshop underscored the vital role played by government institutions in empowering entrepreneurship and enhancing its prospects for long-term success.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"1677\" data-end=\"1747\">The workshop concluded with several key recommendations, most notably:<\/p>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\" data-start=\"1749\" data-end=\"2460\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"1749\" data-end=\"2022\">\n<p data-start=\"1751\" data-end=\"2022\">Making the promotion of entrepreneurship a priority within government policies, while increasing awareness of the importance of legislation, administrative facilitation, and financial support in creating a conducive entrepreneurial environment and fostering innovation.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"2023\" data-end=\"2241\">\n<p data-start=\"2025\" data-end=\"2241\">Evaluating the effectiveness of government policies and initiatives by assessing the impact of laws and regulations on facilitating the establishment of entrepreneurial projects and supporting their sustainability.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2242\" data-end=\"2460\" data-is-last-node=\"\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"2244\" data-end=\"2460\" data-is-last-node=\"\">Strengthening cooperation and networking among the governmental, private, and academic sectors, and encouraging the exchange of expertise and best practices in order to further develop the entrepreneurship
