Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Sabah Manfi Ridha<\/a>, Dean of the College of Administration and Economics and Director of the National Center for Population and Demographic Studies, the Human Resources Division<\/a> at our College organized a specialized workshop for the employees of the National Center for Population and Demographic Studies, entitled \u201cProcedures for Calculating and Granting Annual Increments and Promotions for State Employees.\u201d<\/p>\n

The workshop was delivered by \u00a0Rola Raed Yaseen and \u00a0Haneen Fadhil Abbas, employees of the Human Resources Division.<\/p>\n

The workshop addressed several key topics, including the procedures for granting annual increments and preparing promotion records, based on approved administrative practices, the Civil Service Law, and the State Employees Law No. (22) of 2008.<\/p>\n

The workshop aimed to enhance the capabilities of administrative staff in handling procedures related to promotions and annual increments in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, while reducing routine errors that may arise from insufficient familiarity with the relevant legislation, regulations, and instructions.<\/p>\n

At the conclusion of the workshop, a detailed practical model illustrating the procedures for granting annual increments and promotions was presented. The session witnessed active participation and notable interaction from a number of employees of the National Center for Population and Demographic Studies. The workshop was well received by the participants in recognition of the accurate practical and legal information it provided.<\/p>\n

This workshop forms part of the College of Administration and Economics\u2019 commitment to strengthening cooperation with the National Center for Population and Demographic Studies and supporting the professional and functional capacities of employees in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.<\/p>\n
