href=\"https:\/\/en.coadec.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?page_id=39\">Economics<\/a> by the student (Ali Khalaf Salman) and tagged with (The relationship between government spending and aggregate supply and their impact on the structure of the price index of Iraq ) , Under supervision of (Prof. Dr. Sameer Siham Dawood ).<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">This research aims to measure and analyze the nature of the interactive relationship and the path of macro shocks (short and long term) between government spending and aggregate supply, and their combined impact in guiding the movement of the price index structure, explain the reasons for the mismatch and price disparity between commodity groups (commercial versus non-commercial) , and analyze their behavioral implications on the erosion of purchasing power and the change in the consumption pattern of the Iraqi individual (2003-2025) , as the problem of research is the inefficient direction of government spending by focusing on the current (consumer) side and neglecting the investment side, this financial expansion in light of the structural rigidity of the domestic supply and dependence on imports creates an inflationary gap and imbalances, weakening the flexibility of responding to demand resulting from financial expansion, and the deeper problem in the structural disparity of rising prices between commodity groups, as the prices of certain commodity groups (such as non-commercial goods and services) jump strongly, while others stabilize (import-backed goods) , which weakens purchasing power and forces the Iraqi consumer to change his consumption pattern.<br \/>\nThe deductive approach was employed to start from macroeconomic rules and theories, derive their hypotheses, and then drop them and test their applicability to the state of the Iraqi economy to explain the phenomenon of structural imbalance, using a standard economic model of the type of structural vector self-regression (SVAR) , which allows tracking the transition of government spending shocks in light of the local supply stalemate, the research hypothesis was confirmed in light of the stagnation of the domestic supply (non-oil GDP) , a structural gap was created that led to the distortion of the movement of the structure of the Consumer Price Index (CPI) , which caused varying inflationary waves that drained the purchasing power of the Iraqi consumer, forcing him to change the pattern of consumption, which requires re-engineering in the structure of the state budget legislatively through the adoption of a strict financial rule the direct correlation between fluctuations in oil revenues and immediate consumer monetary inflation.<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wpa-warning wpa-image-missing-alt size-full wp-image-6666 aligncenter\"
