The Department of Public Administration organized a lecture entitled “Adaptive Leadership and its Impact on Human Resources Capabilities / Field Research in the Hospitals of the Medical City Department”, delivered by Professor Dr. Nisreen Jassim Muhammad. The lecture aimed to identify the level of availability of adaptive leadership in the Hospitals of the Department of Medicine, the research community, as well as to diagnose Whether adaptive leadership in the investigated hospitals affects human resources capabilities.

Five dimensions of adaptive leadership have been adopted, represented by (ability to adapt, work in a team spirit, adopting ethical behavior, openness and change, and motivation and stimulation). As for human resources capabilities, five dimensions have been adopted, represented by (acquiring knowledge, training, continuing education, communication, Participation in decision making).

All of them were approved after conducting a field survey in the sample community, and both academic and professional experts agreed on those dimensions. The lecture reached a number of conclusions, the most important of which is that the interest of the Medical City Department and its affiliated hospitals is the ability to adapt to environmental changes and meet the needs of society in a way that guarantees them providing the best services in a continuous and effective manner. The lecture was attended by a number of teachers and college staff, where their inputs were discussed and their inquiries were answered by the lecture.
