The aim of this study to examine the effect of sustainable leadership as an independent variable on entrepreneurial performance as a responsive variable, by mediating the strategic momentum as an intervening variable in the Ministry of Science and Technology. Additionally, it aims to identify the levels of availability and utilization of sustainable leadership to make them more suitable for the current conditions in the research field. The study concludes with a set of recommendations to enhance these practices. Given the research’s significance for society, the researched organizations, and their individuals, a descriptive-analytical methodology was employed. Data were collected from( 172) respondents representing various managerial levels in the ministry, including general managers, deputy general managers, department managers, and section officers. The research utilized a questionnaire comprising (69) items, supplemented by personal interviews and field observations to enhance its robustness. The researcher employed statistical programs such as ( Excel, AMOS V.26, and SPSS V.28) adopting appropriate statistical methods (normal distribution test, factor analysis, exploratory and confirmatory, mean, percentages, standard deviation, relative importance, Pearson correlation coefficient, simple regression coefficient) to test the hypotheses. The results showed the validity of the correlation relationships and the presence of an impact on the levels of key variables and sub-dimensions. The Ministry of Science and Technology has embraced sustainable leadership practices, demonstrating its inclination to adopt its dimensions, particularly organizational justice, cohesive diversity, employee development, orientation and progress, and quality of work life. These dimensions contribute to improving entrepreneurial performance indirectly through strategic momentum and partial mediation via empowerment and shared vision, with a lack of reliance on collective commitment. The study recommends focusing on enhancing the Ministry of Science and Technology’s attention to sustainable leadership, adopting its dimensions, and employing strategic momentum to enhance entrepreneurial performance. This can be achieved by investing in shared vision and empowerment in this direction
