The Accounting Department organized a workshop on the requirements for qualifying graduates of the Accounting Department for the labor market, presented by Yasser Mamoun – Chief Financial Officer at Al Salem Group for Public Investments.
The importance of preparing college students for the labor market is for the purpose of increasing the chances of obtaining a job, meeting market needs, and improving the professional performance of accountants. Among the skills required are proficiency in the basics of accounting, knowledge of using accounting programs and analytical thinking, the ability to solve problems, knowledge of the English language and speaking it, and a CV.
The lecturer provided a detailed explanation of each skill required for the labor market, and Prof. Dr. supervised the implementation of the workshop. Bushra Najm Abdullah Al-Mashhadani and A.M.D. Bushra Fadel Khudair Al-Tai, two teaching staff in the scientific department.
