Prof. Dr. Mounir Hamid Al-Saadi, President of the University of Baghdad, honored the eminent scientific departments in the faculties of the University of Baghdad, which won first place in the Iraqi ranking for universities for the academic year 2020/2021 outranking the corresponding scientific majors in both public and private universities for the year 2020/2021.
During the university council meeting for the sixteenth, the President of the University, Dr. Jassem Muhammad Musahib, Head of the Department of Economics, and Dr. Hussam Ali Muhaibis, Head of the Department of Public Administration, as well as, Dr. Saadoun Mohsen Salman, Head of the Department of Industrial Management, handed a certificate of excelence issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to the university, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Suhail Najm Abdullah, Dean of the College.
The President of the University applauded the teaching staff in the winning departments, emphasizing the importance of maintaining the notable positions that the scientific departments obtained, and he expressed his continuous support for teachers and researchers, as well as the University of Baghdad’s endeavor to obtain pioneering positions in international rankings.
