This research aims to determine the role of authentic leadership (relationship and impact) as an independent variable with its dimensions (self-awareness, transparency of relationships, ethical perspective, balanced treatment) in developing human resources as a dependent variable, with its dimensions (guidance, training, career development, performance evaluation) in Diyala state Company, affiliated to the Iraqi Ministry of Industry and Minerals. The study problem was represented in a number of questions, the most important of which was, what are the most influential factors in achieving authentic leadership and developing human resources? The mixed descriptive approach (quantitative and qualitative) was adopted in completing this study, and the questionnaire was adopted as a tool for collecting data using a random sample method represented by (department and unit managers within the company being studied in addition to employees) numbering (180) respondents, in addition to personal interviews conducted after statistical analysis of the data with a number of leaders and employees from the same group whose opinions were given in the questionnaire numbering (10) participants, and a number of statistical techniques were used within the software package (spss, Excel V.16) for the purpose of processing the data, and this was done through the use of the most prominent descriptive statistical methods such as the arithmetic mean, standard deviation, coefficient of variation and relative importance, and inferential statistical methods such as simple linear regression and Pearson’s correlation coefficient, and simple regression coefficient to choose its hypotheses in an attempt to reach the desired results that contribute to achieving the desired goals of this study, and among the most prominent results that were reached is that authentic leadership It plays a crucial role in developing human resources within the company. This indicates that leadership that enjoys transparency, integrity and effective communication contributes to enhancing performance and raising the level of efficiency among employees. The study concludes with a set of recommendations, the most prominent of which is that the company’s leadership is required to invest in leadership development programs that focus on authentic values such as transparency, integrity and effective communication. This contributes to building a new generation of inspiring leaders within the company.
