The College of Administration and Economics, through its vision and mission, has placed an interest in science and establishing a prosperous scientific future based on solid and stable roots.
This is what we find reflected in the college logo that adorns its entrance, which depicts the college’s mission and vision.
It consists of:
- The Babylonian palm symbol at the bottom of the logo contains seven fronds representing the seven scientific departments that make up the college. The choice of the Babylonian palm and its root extending to the bottom of the logo model represents authenticity, pride, and adherence to history. The choice of the Babylonian palm as a symbol of the economy has a historical meaning that tells us that if we want another Babylon in this era, we need a strong economy. Because without a strong economy, Babylon would not have been a civilization.
- The symbol of science is in the middle of the logo, which is the pen and paper, which are the two tools that have always been and still are the weapon of scholars and students in acquiring and disseminating knowledge and in scientific research.
- Through them, humanity has developed, life has developed, and man has developed. The college takes paper and pen as the basis of its existence and the basis for what it offers to its students, which is scientific research.
- The symbol of the pen and paper is a holy Quranic verse that expresses the pure source from which the college derives its principles and values. It represents a clear message about the great importance of knowledge and clear evidence of the desire of man to develop himself through knowledge (And say, “My Lord, increase me in knowledge”). This is evidence of the college’s desire to increase the knowledge of its students and researchers.
- The background of the logo is a symbol of the world and reflects the unlimited scope that the college aspires to reach in conveying its scientific message and caring for its students and researchers.
