Ass prof Dr Ghufran Hatem Alwan participated, one of our college staff in the Department of Economics, at the Fourth International Conference of Cihan University-Erbil, the conference was under the title “The Fourth Joint International Scientific Conference for Administrative and Financial Sciences in cooperation with the University of Colds-Poland (ICAFS 2023)”, for the period 3-4 / May / 2023.
The President of Cihan University – Erbil, Prof. Dr. Amjad Saber Al-Dalawi, referred in his speech to the various axes of the conference and explained that the scientific conference is divided into five main axes that reflect the current economic and administrative situation and the future of societies in the age of technology, namely: (institutional management in the digital age, and accounting And auditing in the digital age, contemporary management and quantitative methods, digital financial and economic systems, and digital marketing).
Professor Al-Dalawi explained that the number of the research papers which were sent to scientific committee in the conference approached to 63 papers, 49 were accepted while 14 were rejected.
The accepted articles can be divided: 10 from Kurdistan, 24 from other region of Iraqi universities while the rest is from (UK, Poland, Turkey, Qatar, Jordon, Cyprus, Syria, Lebanon, Sudan, Libya, and Algeria) The main speakers of conference is four (Keynote speakers), they come from UK, Poland, Cyprus and Sudan.
Dr Ghufran presented her paper with the researcher Gazwan Ahmed Ibrahim which the title is (Analyzing and estimating the relationship between the banking system and the government fiscal deficit for the period 1990-2019 using the integration model.
