Professor Dr. Sabah Manfi Reda, Dean of the College, participated in the meeting of the Deans’ Committee of the Faculties of Administration and Economics, which was hosted by the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basra, with the participation of the Deans of the Faculties of Administration and Economics in Iraq, and in the presence of Dr. Qutaiba Al-Qazzaz, Rapporteur of the Deans’ Committee.

The meeting discussed requests submitted by some private colleges regarding opening departments of accounting and oil and gas economics in the colleges of economic sciences and books and graduate studies programs in some public colleges, as well as discussing modernizing and developing curricula for departments of colleges of administration and economics in Iraqi universities in a way that is compatible with the requirements of the labor market. Furthermore, it  discussed and reviewed the book of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, which stipulates adding a subject called Baath Crimes to the bachelor’s curriculum. Al Ain University’s proposal to add artificial intelligence to the curriculum of one of the academic subjects was also discussed, in addition to other topics. Appropriate decisions were taken on all the topics raised.
