Professor Dr. Sabah Manfi Reda, Dean of the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Baghdad, received a delegation from the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Bilad Al-Rafidain to discuss prospects for joint cooperation between the two institutions and to renew the twinning and cooperation agreement in the fields of scientific research and the exchange of academic expertise.
The Dean welcomed the visiting delegation to the College, presenting an overview of its long-standing academic history and highlighting the prominent academic figures who have contributed to leading state institutions. He also pointed out the distinguished position achieved by the University of Baghdad at both the national and international levels through its active participation in reputable global rankings. He emphasized that these rankings reflect the University’s standing in scientific research, quality of education, and academic impact, as well as its commitment to excellence standards and continuous development.
On the sidelines of the visit, the ceremony for renewing the twinning and cooperation agreement was held between the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Baghdad, represented by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Sabah Manfi Reda, and the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Bilad Al-Rafidain, represented by Dr. Haqi Ismail Hamad, Head of the Accounting Department, on behalf of the Dean of the College.
The agreement aims to develop academic programs, exchange expertise in the field of scientific research, organize joint lectures and workshops, and update curricula in line with labor market requirements.
The signing ceremony was attended by Dr. Najat Shakir Mahmoud, Head of the Department of Financial and Banking Sciences at the University of Bilad Al-Rafidain, and Dr. Manal Hamid, Head of the Scientific Affairs Unit at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Baghdad.
This activity contributes to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4, which promotes quality education, as well as Goal 17, which emphasizes partnerships for achieving the goals
