The Continuing Education Unit, in cooperation with the Department of Statistics, organized a specialized workshop entitled “The Quality of Volunteer Work Management: A Gateway to Creating Change in Society,” delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Lamia Mohammed Ali, as part of the College’s ongoing efforts to support community initiatives and empower youth capacities.
The workshop aimed to enable participants to understand the foundations of managing volunteer work in accordance with high professional standards, and to transform individual efforts into organized, institutional initiatives with tangible and measurable social impact.
The workshop stemmed from the pivotal role of volunteer work as a fundamental driver of community development and youth capacity building. The lecturer emphasized that achieving the desired impact of volunteer initiatives depends on adopting modern administrative approaches based on quality, sound planning, and good governance.
