As part of academic and scientific cooperation among Iraqi universities, and within the strategic plan of the College of Administration and Economics at University of Baghdad to enhance the practical and awareness-oriented aspects of students’ learning, the Department of Operations Research organized a scientific visit for first-year students to Al-Bayan University / College of Business Administration. The visit was supervised by Assistant Professor Dr. Omar Mohammed Nasser, Lecturer Abeer Salem Alwan, Lecturer Ammar Shihab, Assistant Lecturer Alia Abdul Amir Ahmed, Assistant Lecturer Shaimaa Khazal Shanishil, and Assistant Lecturer Ola Ali Faraj.
The Dean of the College of Business Administration, Professor Dr. Marwan Abdul Hameed Ashour, warmly welcomed the faculty members and students. During the visit, students were introduced to the college’s academic departments, scientific laboratories, and library facilities. In addition, Dr. Hamed Al-Shammarti delivered a lecture on Operations Research to the students.
This visit reflects the principle of cooperation among state educational institutions and aligns with the University of Baghdad’s commitment to enhancing environmental and developmental awareness among students, while linking academic knowledge with practical and field-based applications.
