Community Initiatives

Professor Dr. Sabah Munfi Ridha, Dean of the College, presented Certificates of Appreciation to a number of students in recognition of their outstanding voluntary participation in several impactful community initiatives, including the National Tree-Planting Campaign, the preparation of awareness-raising posters, and the organization of food basket initiatives during the holy month of Ramadan.

The recognition included Nabaa Ammar Abdul Ali from the Department of Statistics, Sanaa Mustafa Amtashar from the Department of Business Administration, Ahmed Iyad Ali from the Department of Business Administration, and Noor Al-Huda Sabah Obaid from the Department of Statistics, under the supervision of Mr. Abdul Karim Asaad Ali, the college official responsible for volunteer activities.

The Dean explained that these volunteer activities are part of the college’s vision to promote the values of giving and social responsibility among students and encourage them to actively participate in serving the community, whether by preserving the environment through tree-planting campaigns, raising awareness through educational posters, or supporting those in need during the holy month.

He also praised the students’ exceptional efforts, emphasizing that such initiatives reflect the college’s positive image and demonstrate its students’ commitment to their social responsibilities.

The recognition ceremony was attended by a number of members of the teaching and administrative staff. The honored students expressed their happiness at receiving this recognition and reaffirmed their commitment to continued volunteer work, highlighting its positive impact on their personal development and their service to society.
