The research addresses the issue of diagnosing the mediating role of digital transformation in the influence of open book management on academic entrepreneurship. The research aims to analyze the effect of open book management on academic entrepreneurship, with digital transformation acting as a mediator, within a sample of public and private universities in Iraq, due the significance of the education sector, its strategic role, and its influence on economic and technological transformations and developments, as well as the potential for accessing data. The study was conducted on a sample of 202 university senior management personnel .The need to uphold organizational values and norms, foster greater trust between academics and management, and establish a creative environment that fosters innovation, encourages an entrepreneurial mindset, and advances digital tools are the reasons behind this study, and these are including: In line with their needs to enable them to enter the labor market, the research relied on analyzing and interpreting the phenomenon, testing its hypotheses in the education sector. The study tested its hypothesis in the field of education while studying and interpreting the phenomenon in order to meet their needs and allow them to enter the workforce. In addition to using a comparative technique to look at the differences between a sample of public and private universities, the descriptive-analytical approach was utilized to assess results and test hypotheses. The research used a questionnaire as the primary tool for collecting data and information, in addition to some quantitative data to support the findings. Most importantly, the study demonstrated the impact of open book management on both digital transformation and academic entrepreneurship. In addition to showing how digital transformation influences academic entrepreneurship, the study also demonstrated how it partially mediates the effects of open book management on academic entrepreneurship at both the individual and aggregate levels. In light of this role, it was recommended to leverage the adaptability of open book management and its dimensions within the workplace, emphasizing its role in fostering academic creativity in their research to accomplish efficient technology use.
