External Examiner

Driven by Management & Science University (MSU)’s commitment to upholding the highest standards of accuracy and objectivity in the evaluation of doctoral dissertations, and in line with its efforts to enrich academic practices through diverse international expertise, the university has selected Assistant Professor Dr. Omar Mohammed Nasser Al-Ashari, a faculty member in the Department of Operations Research at the College of Administration and Economics – University of Baghdad, to serve as an external examiner for a PhD dissertation submitted to the university.

This selection reflects the distinguished academic standing of Dr. Al-Ashari, as well as his solid scholarly and research expertise in the fields of statistics, operations research, and quantitative analysis. It also underscores the growing confidence of international universities in the competence and academic caliber of faculty members at the University of Baghdad.

It is worth noting that Dr. Al-Ashari has an extensive record of publications in peer-reviewed local and international journals, focusing on operations research, mathematical modeling, optimization, and decision analysis. He has also actively participated in numerous international scientific conferences both within Iraq and abroad, representing the University of Baghdad through high-quality research contributions.
