The College of Administration and Economics organized an awareness workshop for college students on the topic (restricting the weapons to the Government) was presented by Colonel Hamid Shnishin, Director of the Public Relations and Media Department at the Baghdad Rusafa Police Command, and Lieutenant Colonel Salam Sadiq Maktouf.
The workshop was attended by prof Dr. Suhail Najm Abdullah, Dean of the College, and prof Dr. Mustafa Mounir, Assistant Dean for Affairs Scientific and gathered professors, staff and college students.
The workshop included an explanation of some of the negative cases that have spread in the recent period, how the security forces dealt with them, and what are procedures the security forces follow with those who carry unruly weapons, by strengthening the efforts of the state and security forces and working on state sovereignty, law enforcement and stability support.
The organization of the symposium comes in response to the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in coordination with the awareness agencies of the Ministry of Interior to organize seminars and workshops in Iraqi universities.
