A delegation consisting of: Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak, the Yemeni Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Husseini, Undersecretary of the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Administrative and Technical Affairs, Mr. Al-Khader Ahmed Ali Marmash, the Yemeni Ambassador to Iraq, and Mrs. Haram Al-Sayyid, the Yemeni Minister of Foreign Affairs, visited the College of Administration and Economics, on the 75th anniversary of its foundation ( Diamond Jubilee) The delegation was welcomed by Dr. Suhail Najm Abdullah, Dean of the College, and the heads of scientific departments.
The delegation toured the college’s corridors and scientific departments, where Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak was one of the college’s students for years past, recalling his school days and the biography of its senior professors who supervised his studying. The delegation also looked at the information technology unit, which includes electronic calculator laboratories. After that, the delegation toured the college’s museum, which includes Pictures and collectibles of college professors, college deans, and the most prominent figures who graduated from the college, including Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak and Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Husseini. The delegation expressed its gratitude to the college dean for this honor.
The Dean also presented the college shield and the college guide issued by the college on the occasion of the diamond jubilee to Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak, in gratitude for this visit.
