The lecturer Dr. Samer Mohammed Jaber Mubarak from the Department of Statistics at the College of Administration and Economics, has won recently the Distinguished Scientific Research Award sponsored by the Research and Development Department at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research on the occasion of the Science Day.
He won the first place for his research paper entitled (Robust data expansion for optimized modeling using adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference systems), which was published in the Expert Systems with Applications Journal, where the evaluation committees were formed of various reviewers from various universities and disciplines, namely 84 reviewers who have reviewed research papers submitted by 2945 researchers including professors and postgraduate students in a number of public and private universities and colleges, as well as from the headquarter of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Ministry of Science and Technology.
